We the People of the Academic Assistance server, in Order to form a more perfect community, establish Justice, ensure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common student, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of scholarly assistance to ourselves and our Peers, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the Academic Assistance Server.
We cannot and will not help you with a test or quiz. We'd be more than happy to help you study for your exam though!
For the sake of organization, keep discussions in the chat of their respective topics. When in doubt as to what a channel is for, check the channel description, most channels will have one. If there is a disagreemant in the relevancy of a discussion to the topic of said chat, feel free to civily bring up the issue of relavancy but do not escalate the situation into an argument. If you feel there is an issue please call a @staff member.
Any inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances (bullying and harassment of any kind will result in a permanent ban). Keep it at most PG-13 and please refrain from being ignorant. No offensive jokes or remarks. Racial and homophobic slurs are unacceptable. If your "jokes" make people uncomfortable, they are a problem and your actions will be held against you. [Dark humor is fine. As long as your comments are not directed at any person or group in such a way to make them uncomfortable you're good.]
Absolutely no spamming. Don't do it. You will be removed.
Advertising on this server is not allowed unless you have received permission to do so. Please DM the server owner (ЩIПƬΣЯƧΛIGΣ#1371) before advertising.
All help given to members of the server must be done so (1) FOR FREE and (2) in one of the server general chats, not via DMs. Anyone who violates these conditions should be reported to staff members.
Refrain from DMing (direct messaging) members unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties. Check roles to see if a person has their @DMs open ✓, @DMs closed ✗, or if they want you to @ask to DM. Regardless of whether DMs were open or closed, if your DMs to members of this server are reported as a nuisance, your membership may be revoked.
Any unsatisfactory reports about server admin or members should be reported privately to the owner or the @Admins in a direct message (see The Avalon Team page for a full list of admins). If you have any ideas that could help us better our community, please email us or use the #suggestions-and-complaints channel to announce them. We'd love to hear your feedback!
If the server owner is not online, the admins will be in charge for as long as the person of higher authority is not present. Questions about server permissions, role functionality, etc. should be reported either to the server owner or the admins (tutors do not have sufficient authority to handle these requests).
If you somehow find a loophole to do something inappropriate because it is “not in the rules”, your actions will still be held against you.
