- Separate from peer tutor, an Essay Reviewer's duty is specifically to review student essays for clarity, style, and logical flow.
- NOT a grammar checker
- Should NOT be writing a student’s essay for them, but may assist with ideas and give phrasing suggestions while making sure the student’s work remains their own.

We are currently looking for a Chief Event Planner, a Secretary, and a Marketing Team (details on each position's individual duties are included in the application form). Applicants should be currently in or have recently graduated from high school. Here are some of the reasons why you should apply:

How do we track service hours?
How do we track service hours?
It depends on your position, so here's the break-down:
Peer tutors: On the Avalon server, we award reputation points for every question you help one of our members with. Points reset at the end of the month and hours are counted on a monthly basis. All tutors will receive 1 service hour per 2 rep points they have accumulated by the end of the current month.
Essay Reviewers: For every essay reviewed, 2 service hours will be awarded.
